Overview: The DENT RōCoil™ Current Transformers are designed for accurate, non-intrusive measurement of AC current, pulsed DC, or distorted waveforms, particularly where conventional rigid core CTs are unsuitable. They can measure AC current over a wide dynamic range from 20 Hz to 5 kHz.

Mechanical and Safety Features:

Coil materials are made of blue thermoplastic rubber, flame retardant UL 94 V-0 rated.
Working temperature ranges from -20 °C to +70 °C (-4° to +158 °F).
Working voltage is 1000 Vrms maximum with dielectric strength of 7400 VAC around the coil.
Certifications include conformity to UL STD 61010-1 and CAN/CSA STD C22.2 No. 61010.

Performance and Testing:

All accuracies are specified at 20°C (±2°C) with the RōCoil™ centered on the conductor.
CT testing was performed with a 16” RōCoil, with the conductor filling 90% of the RōCoil window.
RōCoil CTs are UL Rated to 100KA AC and have been verified to meet the C57.13-2008 Class 1.2 Standard.
