Two types of Rogowski coil current transformers (CTs) are offered by DENT Instruments: the 'bare' RoCoil and the RoCoil mV with an amplifier/integrator. This document provides guidance on selecting the appropriate Rogowski CT for your meter.

RoCoil

Designed for use with ELITEpro XC/SP, PowerScout 3 Series, PowerScout 18, PowerScout 24, and RoCoil TCA-5.
Output Signal: di/dt, 131 mVAC/1000A at 60 Hz, 110 mVAC/1000A at 50 Hz.
No external power required; requires an amplifier/integrator built into the ELITEpro XC/SP and PowerScout Series.

RoCoil mV

Designed for use with legacy ELITEpro and other meters requiring a millivolt output.
Output Signal: 333 mV AC at rated current, with a maximum output of 1,665 mVAC.
External power is required, which can be supplied by a line-powered ELITEpro or an ELITEpro XC/SP with the appropriate adapter. Wall transformers are also available.
The amplifier/integrator is built into the lead wire, so no additional amplifier/integrator is needed.
