DRIVES FOR SPHEROIDAL-GRAPHITE CAST-IRON TRAVEL WHEELS The selection tables show pole-changing standard drives for line-fed operation (400 V, 50 Hz) for common speeds. To specify the right drive for your application, proceed as follows: • Determine the total mass to be moved • Select the size, travel wheel type and number of wheels (consider maximum load capacity of individual LRS units) • Determine the drive type: Individual drive or central drive • The total mass is moved by one drive on a four-wheel trolley equipped with a central drive • Half of the total mass is moved by one drive on a four-wheel trolley equipped with individual drives • The drive combinations (11 to 65) for the required travel speed and mass can be seen in the tables.
