It offers engine manufacturers excellent cost efficiency and robustness. The injector is optimized for compatibility with CNG and other alternative fuels to harness their significant greenhouse gas emissions reduction potential. Its tailored design allows efficient engine operation with low energy density fuel systems that require high gas volumes and flow velocities. The injector can be operated with a conventional gasoline engine control module, enabling low cost implementation. Delphi also offers manufacturers CNG-compatible mono-fuel, bi-fuel and tri-fuel engine management systems that include injectors, engine control modules, tailored software and algorithms, high energy ignition coils, electronic throttle control and exhaust sensors.
