Constant Level Oiler

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Denco Lubrication Constant Level Oiler is designed to maintain a consistent lubrication level in bearing housings or gearboxes by automatically replenishing lubricant from a backup reservoir. It operates on an air compensation principle, ensuring the oil level is restored whenever it falls below a preset level.
Key Features:
  • Automatic replenishment of lubricant to maintain constant levels.
  • Transparent reservoir for easy monitoring and replenishment.
  • Adjustable settings for fine-tuning lubricant levels.
  • Reduces risks associated with manual oiling, such as spillage and overfilling.
  • Available in glass or durable plastic reservoirs.
  • Decreases maintenance costs by extending inspection and replenishment intervals.
Technical Specifications:
  • Standard oiler body made of brass with ¼" BSP side and bottom entry ports.
  • Available with alternative designs including API threads, dust/moisture skirts, and balance tubes for specific environments.
  • Reservoir options include 100ml or 200ml in glass or Barex plastic, and a 500ml polythene option.
  • Suitable for mineral lubricating oils with appropriate viscosity.
  • Operating temperature range: -10°C to +60°C.
Model Variants:
  • Series N: Standard design with brass body and ¼" BSP threads.
  • Series R: Similar to Series N but with ¼" NPT threads.
  • Series L: Includes a PVC skirt for protection in dusty or wet environments.
  • Series P: Features an overflow tube for use with oil mist systems.
  • Series Q: Designed for sub-atmospheric pressure applications with a balance tube.
  • Series S: Similar to Series Q but with a 90° balance tube orientation.
  • Series E: Directly mounts into the top of sumps or gearboxes, ideal for shallow or inaccessible areas.

Constant Level Oiler The Denco Lubrication Oiler maintains a constant lubrication level in a bearing housing or gearbox automatically making up lubricant usage from its back-up reservoir. The oiler is based on the simple air compensation principal. As the oil level in the bearing falls, so does the level in the body of the oiler. This fall in level uncovers the bottom of the chamfered feed tube of the oiler and air is admitted into the oil reservoir. An equivalent amount of oil is permitted to escape from the reservoir down the oil feed tube to the body of the oiler, restoring the pre-set oil level and sealing off the air feed tube. This sequence is repeated whenever the level of the oil in the bearing or sump fall and will continue until the reservoir is empty. BIJUR FARVAL LUBESITE DELIMON Denco LUBRICATION The clear transparent reservoir allows the level of oil remaining in the reservoir to be monitored and replenished before this occurs. Adjustable to allow fine tuning of the ultimate lubricant level. Reliably eliminates risks and hazards inevitable with manual oiling methods such as lubricant spillage and guesswork when topping up. Maintains cleanliness of the lubricant giving longer component life. Reservoir in easy to view glass or non-destructible plastic. Transparent reservoir indicates the back-up volume available at any time. Reduces maintenance costs by increasing inspection and replenishment periods. Prevents overfilling -a cause of overheating or mechanical damage to bearings/gears. Constant Level Oiler April 2007
