This spray pattern makes the cooling process more controllable, with reduced tendency for water puddling and localized uneven cooling or thermally induced roller deflection. The flat spray pattern is thick and even over angles from 60° to 120°, offering good coverage with fewer nozzles. The Cool-Cast design consumes less air than conventional nozzles, which saves energy through reduced air compressor load. Wide passages prevent clogging Construction And Materials • Wide passages do not retain contaminants, preventing plugging • All components are machined from stainless steel for dimensional stability and durability; other materials are available upon request • Straight or angled lances are available • A mini version with no lance (nozzle mounted to the body) is available for space-constrained locations
