Product catalog summary
Overview
The EPN-110DN is an electronic potentiometer designed for use in generator protection and control systems, suitable for both marine and land-based installations. It replaces traditional motor potentiometers and is type-approved by major classification societies.

Application
The device converts relay outputs from PI step controllers into control voltages for speed governors or AVRs. It features inputs for frequency or voltage increase ("▲"), decrease ("▼"), and reset ("RES").

Key Features
  • Automatic reset during power-up.
  • Offset adjustment for control loop start point.
  • LED indicators for input activation.
  • Compatible with common electronic speed governors and AVRs.

Outputs and Settings
  • Output signal ranges: 0 to ±1 V DC, 0 to ±5 V DC, or 0 to ±10 V DC, selectable via DIP switches.
  • Integrating time adjustable from 2.5 to 25 seconds or 25 to 250 seconds.
  • Offset adjustment from -25% to 25% of output.

Technical Specifications
  • Relay input: Potential-free relay contacts.
  • Analogue output: Configurable voltage ranges.
  • Operating temperature: -25 to 70 °C.
  • Supply voltage: Various AC and DC options.
  • Protection: IP40 for case, IP20 for terminals.

Installation and Compliance
  • Mounting: 35 mm DIN rail or base mounting.
  • Compliance with EMC standards IEC/EN 61000-6-1/2/3/4.
  • UL/cUL Listed for specific configurations.

Ordering Information
Variants are available for DC and AC supply, with specific item numbers for ordering. Additional options can be specified for standard variants.
