In particular, during fire cause investigations, personal protective equipment (PPE) and carried devices are contaminated by various hazardous substances. There is often even a risk of contamination with asbestos, which is highly hazardous to health. To prevent cross-contamination and, most importantly, the incorporation (absorption) of harmful substances, the deco mobil is equipped with a multi-chamber system featuring a negative pressure HEPA filtration system, two-stage wastewater filtration, a contaminated-and-clean separation system, and a shower area for the decontamination of emergency personnel and equipment.
