PROFILE GROOVE FEED EXTRUDERS Davis-Standard’s groove feed extruder technology and patented DSB®-VI barrier screw design offer processors a fully engineered solution for high output applications. These high performance extruders are based on Davis-Standard’s popular Thermatic® design while the DSB-VI screw is engineered to accommodate large output rates of groove feed extruders. Davis-Standard has made significant advancements in groove feed bushing design and barrier screw design to enable processing of a variety of thermoplastic materials while maintaining lower melt temperatures, improved mixing and homogenization, and linear output independent of die pressures.
