PCP volumetric pumps

Product catalog summary
Overview: The PCP volumetric pumps represent advanced technology in the micro-dispensing sector, offering precise volumetric dispensing unaffected by fluid pressure, viscosity, or temperature. The pumps are driven by a gearmotor with an encoder, allowing for accurate dispensing in various forms such as strips, drops, or specific volumes.
Key Features:
  • Multiple sizes available for diverse applications.
  • Dispensing unaffected by temperature and viscosity changes.
  • Simple maintenance due to pump design.
  • Special features available, including PEEK body, ceramic rotor, and PA stator.
  • Capability to dispense filled materials without wear issues.
  • Suck back function to prevent dripping.
Applications: Suitable for dispensing silicone, grease, resin, adhesives, and fluids with low to high viscosity.
Technical Specifications:
  • Dimensions and weight vary across models, with the largest being 60xL580xØ60mm and 3.5 kg.
  • Input pressure ranges from 0 to 6 bar, with a maximum dosing pressure of 20 bar for most models.
  • Viscosity range is 0 to 500,000 cPs.
  • Dosing volume per revolution ranges from approximately 0.005 ml to 2.0 ml.
  • Motor speed varies from 1 to 150 rpm, depending on the model.
  • Accuracy of dosing is ±1%.
  • Operating temperature is between 10°C and 40°C.
Integration and Control: PCP pumps can be easily integrated into 6-axis, Scara, or Cartesian robots using specific brackets. The control system allows for simple parameter settings and can operate in shot, steady, or metering modes. Communication with an external PLC is possible through simple I/O.
Functioning Principle: The pump operates by creating a cavity between the rotor and stator, which moves forward as the motor rotates, generating vacuum at the inlet and pressure at the outlet, ensuring precise control of the dispensing process.

PCP volumetric pumps-1

The PCP volumetric pumps is the state of art in the micro-dispensing world. The pumps are drived by a gearmotor with encoder and allow volumetric dispensing in strips, drops, or fill a determinated volume with the highest accuracy, without be affected from inlet fluid pressure, viscosity and temperature of the media etc. The motor, drived in one direction dispense the fluid, and if drived in the other direction suck back the fluid, preventing dripping and levelling the pressure on the nozzle. PRINCIPLE OF FUNCTIONING A cavity is generated between the rotor and the stator when assembled, and, when the motor rotate, the cavity is moved forward, creating vacuum in the inlet area and pressure in the outlet area. With the control of the rotation of the motor the result is a perfect control of the dispensing process INTEGRATION OF PCP PUMPS ON ROBOTS The PCP pumps are easy to be integrated on 6 axis, Scara or cartesian robots, with specific brackets, easy to create (DAV Tech can supply the 3d models of the pumps). DRIVE PCP PUMPS The control of the pump allow to set all the parameters in...
