MW-20DY is the top performance product of DLA’s “Multiwave” family, with the capability to produce adjustable pulses from 10 ns to 200 ns and with the possibility to structure the profile of the laser pulse (Dynamic Pulsing™ ) chopping every single pulse into a burst of elementary pulses with repetition rate up to 50MHz. With a broad range of presetted pulse shapes available, users can easily select the ideal pulse profile to maximize material removal minimizing unwanted thermal effects (HAZ), or to carefully control and optimize material processing. The MW-20DY’s platform allows to change pulse profiles in true real time and on-the-fly, increasing the reliability and the control of the laser interaction with material, enhancing the laser parameters control and setting. New Datalogic “Multiwave” family of high performance MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) lasers allows pulse width selection and equalization, ASE suppression and residual laser emission, and beam quality well beyond fiber-based Q-switched and competitive MOPA laser designs.
