Abbildung 1 > The fast and integrated Inspection System for Composite Structures for on-site and Field Inspection Portable Shearography Inspection System Q-810 The Portable Shearography System Q-810 is a compact inspection system for fast inspection of components made from composite struc-tures like aircraft fuselages and components, rocket shell parts, marine ship hulls, pipes. The fully portable system has especially been de-signed for full field inspection purposes. It is independent from environmental conditions and can be operated as well in the test lab as on site on an air base or a ship yard. NDT for Production and Maintenance The Q-810 System has been approved by leaders in aviation manufacturers as inspection tool for production and maintenance applica-tions. Large Field of Application The Q-810 System works on any composite material and, generally, requires no prepara- tion of the inspected component. The inspection is as fast as 1 image every 30 seconds, covering an area of ca. 300x200 mm. The system shows position and size of delaminations, cracks, voids, impact damages, failed repair areas and other types of defects. Additionally, the shearographic inspection principle also shows the effect of the defect on the structural stiffness - an important advan- tage in the evaluation of the inspection result. >
