Sawhead Construction and Features:
The sawhead is constructed as a single unit using electrowelded and stabilized steel. It is hydraulically guided on prismatic twin columns with linear bearings, and the columns are filled with concrete polymer to minimize vibrations.

Saw Driving Mechanism:
The saw is driven by a high-performance gearbox designed for heavy loads at low revolutions. It includes a motorized cleaning brush and an air-oil mist spray to extend blade life. Clamping is provided on both sides of the blade with automatic positioning of the clamps. The datum face is grooved and tempered to prevent wear during feeding.

Mitre Positioning:
Automatic mitre positioning is controlled by CNC, allowing angles from +45º to -60º. The system uses accurate ball bearings to prevent deformation and is moved by a gearbox that activates a specially designed rack/pinion system.

Guiding and Tensioning:
Automatic guiding is achieved through a combination of bearings and hard metal plates, allowing for blade position adjustments. The mobile blade guiding arm is hydraulically locked to reduce vibrations. An hydraulic cylinder ensures correct blade tensioning at all times.
