It features a nominal current of 100 A rms, a primary/secondary current ratio of 1000:1, and a 2 MHz bandwidth. The device is compact, lightweight, and suitable for space-constrained applications.
Specifications: The transducer operates at a supply voltage of ±15 V and can measure currents ranging from -150 A to 150 A. It has a total accuracy of 51 ppm, linearity error of 1 ppm, and offset of 50 ppm. The device supports a bandwidth of 2 MHz and has a response time of 1 µs to 90% of step current.
Applications: The DT100ID is ideal for power measurement and analysis, particle accelerators, MRI devices, battery testing, and precision current sensing.
Electrical Specifications: The transducer's nominal primary AC current is 100 Arms, with a measuring range of -150 A to 150 A. It has an overload capacity of -500 A to 500 A for 100 ms. The device's linearity error is defined as the deviation from a straight line, calculated using a linear regression trend line.
Isolation and Safety: The DT100ID complies with IEC 61010-1 standards, offering reinforced insulation for high voltage applications. It is designed for indoor use, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and a relative humidity of 20% to 80%.
Environmental and Mechanical Characteristics: The transducer is designed for indoor use, with an IP20 ingress protection rating. It has a mass of 0.15 kg and uses DSUB-9 connections. The device complies with EMC and safety standards, including EN 61326-1 and IEC 61010-2-030.
Installation and Use: The DT100ID should be powered by a DSSIU-4-1U or similar power supply. Installation involves connecting the primary conductor through the transducer's aperture and securing all connections before applying power. The device includes a status signal and LED to indicate operational status.
Declaration of Conformity: The product complies with EC Directives 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EU, and is manufactured in accordance with the RoHS directive 2011/65/EU.

Linearity error Linearity error is defined as the deviation from a straight line. The straight line is a linear regression trend line based on the least squares method of the measurement points from 0 to positive max current and another trendline is calculated from 0 to negative max current. The difference between each measured point and the linear trend line is the linearity error. The linearity error eL can be expressed as (1), where Ireading is the measurement result and Ifitted is the regression value. Reading is the actual value measured at a given time. Full scale is the rated nominal value...
