U-TRONIC S+R are medium sized CN heads that are connected to the U axis of the machine tool CNC for inner, outer and undercut facing operations, fine boring, straight and taper thread, concave and convex radiusing, thanks to the interpolation with all the machine tool axes. These heads, unlike standard U-TRONIC heads, are designed with an integrated gear-box with a 1:4 ratio to amplify the cutting torque and cutting parameters.
