Performance That Pays. Unmatched Innovation. Over the years, Cummins customers have benefited greatly from technological breakthroughs and continual improvement. This tradition continues with the evolution of the Modular Common Rail System (MCRS) for Cummins engines above 750 hp (559 kW). The MCRS design utilizes ultra-high fuel pressure and advanced electronics to precisely control the combustion process. MCRS injectors are electrically actuated by an internal pilot valve that opens and provides a pressure signal to the injector nozzle when energized by the Electronic Control Module (ECM)....
