While specifics may vary, an oxidation catalyst is typically required in order to lower carbon monoxide (CO) and non-methane hydrocarbons. The Cummins dual fuel system is compliant with 40GFR09 EPA Tier 2 regulations using a Cummins Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC).
