2. Connection Setup
- Connect the DEMO board with the AM4100-I device.
- Attach the serial port line to the PC USB port.
- Connect the power adapter to a power source.
Note: The DEMO testing kit is a signal converter for obtaining digital UART signals from the AM4100-I. If an alternative signal converter or testing kit is available, it may be used instead.

3. Serial Port Operator Setup
- Open and configure the serial port with the following settings:
- Port: COM*
- Baud rate: 9600
- Data bits: 8
- Stop bits: 1
- Parity: None
Note: Verify the port number on your computer and select the correct one.
- Set the receive and send settings to Hex.

4. RS232 Protocol Operation
- Open the AM4100 RS232 protocol and send the command to read measurement results:
- Send: 11 02 01 00 EC
- Respond: 16 11 01 DF1-DF2 DF3-DF4 DF5-DF6 DF7-DF8 DF9-DF10 [CS]
- Function: To read CO2, VOC, RH, Temp, PM2.5 measurement results, and state.

Data Interpretation
- Temperature data is adjusted by adding 500 to the practical measurement result. For example, -20℃ corresponds to a value of 300. The formula is: Temperature value = (DF7 * 256 + DF8 - 500)/10.
- Measurement results are presented in two data bits, with the high bit preceding the low bit.
- Formula: Measurement result = DFn * 256 + DFn+1
