Imron Fleet Line Wash Primer WP207 is a chromate-free etch primer suitable for all ferrous metals, including stainless steel and light alloys. It is environmentally responsible and user-friendly, offering excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion. It is designed for commercial vehicles and trailers and can be coated with Imron Fleet Line 2K surfacers.
- Application Preparation: Use appropriate personal protection equipment. Suitable for bare steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and pretreated surfaces.
- Mixing Ratios: WP207 and P207 in specified volume and weight ratios. Pot life at 20°C is 8 hours.
- Spray Application: Compliant and HVLP spray pressures and nozzles specified. Two coats with intermediate and final flash-off times.
- VOC Compliance: Maximum 780 g/l VOC content in ready-to-use form.
Mixing ratios available on ChromaWeb. Theoretical coverage is 80-90 m²/l at 1 micron dry film thickness. Practical consumption depends on various factors.
Material should be at room temperature before use. Do not return surplus material to the original can. Overcoat within 24 hours. Avoid using polyester putty or Epoxy Primer-Surfacer over this product. At higher temperatures, specific additives can be used to ease application.
