Service PTFE Membrane Cartridge Filters

Product catalog summary
Overview: GTM Cartridge Filters are designed for general-purpose use with a hydrophobic PTFE membrane, suitable for filtering aggressive solvents, compressed gases, and vent applications. These filters are used across various industries requiring high-quality, cost-effective filtration solutions.
Construction Materials: The filters are constructed with a PTFE membrane, supported by polypropylene components, and sealed using thermal bonding. O-rings are available in various materials including Buna, Viton, EP, Silicone, and FEP encapsulated options.
Dimensions: The filters are available in lengths ranging from 5 to 40 inches, with an outside diameter of 2.75 inches. Each 10-inch length provides a filtration area of 7.0 square feet.
Integrity and Operating Parameters: Each manufacturing lot undergoes integrity testing. The filters can operate at a maximum differential pressure of 50 psid forward and 40 psid reverse at 20°C. They can withstand operating temperatures up to 82°C at 10 psid in water.
Sanitization and Sterilization: Filters can be sanitized using in-line steam at 135°C for 30 minutes or through chemical sanitization with standard industry chemicals. A stainless steel support ring is required for elevated temperature procedures.
Applications: Suitable for compressed air, process gases, solvents, and tank vents.
Compliance: Filters meet FDA requirements for food and beverage processing and comply with European Commission regulations for materials intended for repeated food contact.
Quality Assurance: The manufacturing facility meets ISO 9001:2008 standards, ensuring high-quality production in clean room environments. A sophisticated MRP system supports continuous quality and cost improvements.
Ordering Information: Filters can be customized based on pore size, end cap type, length, and O-ring material. Typical flow rates vary by pore size, with specific rates provided for both liquid and air/gas applications.

Total Performance Critical Process Filtration, Inc. is a vertically integrated manufacturer of filtration products to industries in which filtration is considered a critical part of the manufacturing process. We supply a complete line of products and services to help you cost effectively satisfy all your filtration requirements from a single source. General Service Grade GTM Filter Cartridges are designed for general purpose use wherever a hydrophobic membrane filter is required. Manufactured with inherently hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, these cartridges are designed for use in the filtration of aggressive solvents, and as compressed gas and vent filters. These cartridges are found in the manufacturing processes of firms in multiple industries that require high quality, cost effective filter technologies. The cartridge surface area, filter core design, pleat configuration, and pleat packing density have been optimized to provide increased cartridge life resulting in lower filtration operating costs.
