Product catalog summary
Overview
GPVWB filter cartridges are designed for general-purpose use with a hydrophobic membrane, suitable for filtering solvents, non-aqueous solutions, and as compressed gas and vent filters. They are used across various industries requiring high-quality, cost-effective filtration technologies.
Construction Materials
The cartridges are constructed with a high-capacity hydrophobic PVDF membrane, supported by polypropylene components, and sealed using thermal bonding. O-rings are available in various materials including Buna, Viton, and Silicone.
Dimensions
Cartridges are available in lengths from 5 to 40 inches with an outside diameter of 2.75 inches.
Integrity and Operating Parameters
Each manufacturing lot is tested for integrity. The maximum differential pressure is 50 psid forward and 40 psid reverse at 20°C. The operating temperature is 82°C at 10 psid in water, with a recommended changeout pressure of 35 psid.
Sanitization/Sterilization
Cartridges can be sanitized using filtered hot water, autoclave, or in-line steam, with specific conditions requiring a stainless steel support ring. Chemical sanitization is also possible with standard chemicals.
Applications
These filters are suitable for process gas, compressed air filtration, solvents, tank vents, and non-aqueous solutions.
Flow Rates
Typical flow rates are provided for various pore sizes, with liquid flow rates ranging from 1.1 to 7.0 gpm and air/gas flow rates exceeding 45 scfm.
Ordering Information
Cartridge order numbers vary based on pore size, end cap type, length, and O-ring material. Specific codes are provided for each variable.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Filters meet FDA and EC compliance for food and beverage processing. The manufacturing facility adheres to ISO 9001:2008 standards, ensuring high quality and cost-effective production.
