Chemical Sanitization Nylon does not tolerate aggressive chemical sanitization protocols. Nylon membrane cartridges are best sanitized with 1% hydrogen peroxide or 1% hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid. Various manufacturers use different concentrations of active ingredients.
