Commercial Pleated Polypro Depth Cartridge Filters

Product catalog summary
Overview
Commercial Grade CPD Cartridge Filters are designed for applications such as process water, specialty chemicals, waste stream cleanup, and sediment removal. These filters are constructed with pleated polypropylene depth media, offering high flow characteristics and dirt-holding capacity. The design ensures no fiber release and maintains high porosity, making them cost-effective for various applications.

Construction Materials
The filters are made from polypropylene materials, including the filtration media, media support, end caps, center core, and outer support cage. The sealing method used is thermal bonding, and various O-ring materials are available, including Buna, Viton, EP, Silicone, and FEP encapsulated options.

Dimensions and Filtration Area
The filters are available in lengths from 10 to 40 inches with an outside diameter of 2.50 inches. The filtration area is approximately 5.8 square feet per 10-inch length, varying with media thickness and porosity.

Operating Parameters
The maximum forward differential pressure is 50 psid at 20°C, and the reverse is 20 psid at the same temperature. The maximum operating temperature is 80°C at 10 psid in water, with a recommended changeout pressure of 35 psid.

Compliance and Quality Assurance
CPD filters comply with FDA and European Commission regulations for non-fiber releasing filters. The manufacturing facility meets ISO 9001:2008 standards, ensuring high quality and cost-effective production.

Ordering Information
Cartridge order numbers vary based on pore size, end cap type, and other specifications. Pore sizes range from 0.10 μm to 100 μm, with various end cap and O-ring options available.

Flow Rate
Typical flow rates are provided for different pore sizes, with water flow measured at a 1 psid pressure differential across a single 10-inch cartridge element.

We supply a complete line of products and services to help you cost effectively satisfy all your filtration requirements from a single source. All Critical Process Filtration cartridge filters are made using materials that meet the FDA requirements for processing food and beverage products. CPD filters comply with Title 21 CFR sections 210.3 (b)(6) and 211.72, for non-fiber releasing filters. All materials used to make the filters are listed in European Commission Regulation EU/10/2011, Annex 1. CPD filters typically exhibit low levels of non-volatile residues. Commercial Grade Commercial grade CPD pleated polypropylene depth filter cartridges are made using extruded outer cages and a continuous pleat pack for economical construction. The media is high quality polypropylene depth media such as in our standard PD filters, which offers exceptional flow characteristics and high dirt-holding capacity. Fine polypropylene fibers are bonded together to ensure no fiber release in a fiber matrix that maintains high porosity. An economical design and a 99%+ retention efficiency make the CPD filter a cost effective option for water, waste streams and chemical applications.
