OFF-POWER GENERATION ENGINE APPLICATION with CRE TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS The wide CRE TECHNOLOGY product range is also bringing solution on specific fields out of the power generation market, this case study is showing where CRE TECHNOLOGY has provided its products for applications such as: • Sprinkler or irrigation engine driven pump, • Off highway vehicles • DC supply panels for auxiliary automation panel. SPRINKLER PUMP APPLICATION Redundant battery chargers and redundant MPU (Magnetic Pick Up). Sprinklers pump are installed on firefighting application, and made to spread a large quantity of water as soon as a fire detection is active in buildings where an important safety, submitted to strict standards is required. In this application, CRE TECHNOLOGY battery chargers are used in redundancy in order to keep battery charged and operational 27/7, even in case of single unit failure, redundancy allows also operator to replaces defective units on site without stopping the charging process. An identical redundancy philosophy is applied to MPU speed sensors (Magnetic Pick Up) in order to make sure speed reading and overspeed protection are effective. CRE devices installed : • Battery chargers BPRB1024M • MPU CO5/8-92C • COW-500 with shielded cable. COMPACT EXCAVATOR APPLICATION Magnetic Pick Up speed sensors. Off highway vehicles applications are various and often equipped with systems identical or similar than Gensets, like speed governors, solenoids, CAN controllers, overspeed protections…) The application below is showing French made Bobcat compact excavator project, where CRE TECHNOLOGY has provided its range of Magnetic Pick Up speed sensors for years, the sensor is use for speed information display, idle speed control and engine speed protection. CRE devices installed : • MPU CO3/8-60W with shielded cable APSAD CERTIFIED FIREFIGHTING PANEL Battery chargers and auxiliary Fire detection systems are installed independently from classic electrical systems in order to limit external issues possibilities, detection network, display and control panels are supplied by dedicated DC power panels equipped with batteries and redundant battery chargers. CRE TECHNOLOGY has provided battery chargers and an external measurement/protection board on a fire detection panel application certified by APSAD standard, the CRE TECHNOLOGY systems ensure: Battery Chargers redundancy & protection, remote voltage & current reading on display, remote display of battery and charger status.
