General Description
Craig & Derricott's limit switches, branded as 'Miniswitches', are robust industrial devices. They are available in three basic module forms: single pole snap-action, double pole snap-action, and single pole positive break. Basic Construction
The switches feature a black phenolic case, a plunger of hardened mild steel, beryllium copper switching blades with silver contact tips, stainless steel tension springs, and plated brass fixed contacts. They also include a rigid contact bridge and a stainless steel moving contact return spring.

Electrical Ratings
The switches comply with BS EN 60947-5 standards. They have a thermal rating of 20A and a switching capacity of 6A at 250V AC15. The body mouldings have a CTI of over 600, and the terminal screws are M3.5, supporting a maximum cable size of 2.5 mm². Ingress protection varies by model, with A & B models rated at IP40 and C & D models at IP65, except for ball actuators.
