Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides technical specifications and applications for Coval's air amplifiers, which utilize the COANDA effect to enhance airflow with minimal energy consumption. These devices are suitable for various industrial applications, including gripping porous materials, transporting granules, and smoke evacuation.
Applications:
  • Gripping and unstacking very porous loads such as foam and leather.
  • Degassing and smoke evacuation.
  • Transport of granules like rice and coffee.
  • Sorting by weight and cleaning operations.
Specifications:
  • Compressed air requirements: Dry, non-lubricated air at 1.5 to 5 bar.
  • Material: Aluminum body.
  • Temperature range: 0°C to 80°C (32°F to 212°F).
  • Compressed air filtration: 5 microns for M6C model, 20 microns for others.
Models and Dimensions:
  • Various models (M6C, M10C, M20C, M30CV, M40CV) with different bore sizes and dimensions.
  • Control options include pneumatic and 24 V DC DIN control valves.
Performance:
  • Performance curves indicate the relationship between compressed air supply pressure and the resulting suction and air consumption rates.
  • Maximum vacuum and overpressure values are provided for different models.
Additional Information:
  • Stainless steel versions are available upon request.
  • Custom amplification ratios can be studied for specific needs.

M--CAir Amplifiers By virtue of the COANDA effect, the motor flux draws in air at room temperature. This physical phenomenon greatly amplifies the flow which results in very high suction produced with low consumption. ■ Gripping of very porous, lightweight products: foam, carpet, cakes, leather, etc. ■ Transport of powdery materials: powders, granules, etc. ■ Transporting small, lightweight objects: paper clips, rice, coffee, etc. ■ Smoke evacuation, chamber depressurization, etc. Operation requirement Compressed air filtration at 5 microns for the M6C model and 20 microns for the other models....
