Product catalog summary
Storm Tank Discharge Equipment Overview
1. Storm Tank Discharge Chute (TDT)
Description: These are water collection chutes designed to rotate rapidly on their axes when the water level in the tank reaches its limit. They automatically return to their resting position without auxiliary means. Capacities range from 200 to 2000 litres per meter, with lengths up to 10 meters, limited by civil works.
Assembly: Chutes can be mounted between walls using embedded guides in concrete, or alternatively, fixed with plugs or hanging supports from the ceiling.
Function: The primary function is to clean solid particles from the bottom of a storm tank after excessive flow from a flood. They are installed at a specific height based on civil work conditions, with tanks compartmentalized into sloped channels.
2. Storm Tank Discharge Sluice Gate (CDT)
Description: These sluice gates are activated rapidly by oleohydraulic cylinders to hold and then quickly discharge large quantities of water, effectively cleaning residual grit in storm water tanks.
Assembly: Installed in rectangular holes at the lower part of the header tanks within the storm water tanks.
Function: Similar to the chutes, sluice gates clean solid particles from the bottom of a storm tank post-flood.
Components: Includes a hydraulic cylinder fixed using Hilti rawlbolts and a frame made of AISI-316L.
