TRAVICANT The CORNIX TRAVICANT is a cantilever designed for heavy duty loads that even require special depths or have irregular dimensions. The TRAVICANT is entirely made in our factory. The IPE uprights are single- or double-sided with a maximum height of 12 000 mm. The base is manufactured out of the same IPE beam as the column and has to be bolted to it. This saves you in installation cost ! The base can if needed be fixed to the floor (anchors ∅ 16 mm). Capacity of the column up to 50 000 kg depending on the type. Delivered not assembled. Arms are adjustable every 100 mm. A model with fixed arms position is also availbale and is cheaper. Each arm is fixed with 2 or 4 bolts depending on the load. Capacities can go up to 3500 kg/ arm in case of an uniformly distributed load over the full length of the arm. Armlengths are available from 400 to 2500 mm. Flexion : 1/160 in accordance with F.E.M. regulations. 3. Special roofarms are also available. 4. Each arm (and also the base) can be equipped with an end stop with height of your choice. 6. Bracing is provided by bolted frames. Depending on the height 1 or more frames may be required. The axial distance of the columns can vary from 600 to 3600 mm. 5. Palletrails are also available. Installed between the arms they allow the storage of pallets or they can also serve as reinforcement for a panelled floor. 7. Standard colours : blue RAL 5010 or yellow RAL1018. At extra cost other colours are available (grey, red, …). For exterior use we can provide a galvanized version. CORNIX ADVICE ● A cantilever is not a replacement of a pallet racking. If you have regularly sized goods please opt for a pallet racking as this is a much cheaper solution. ● A cantilever is an investment with a short pay back time as it results in cheaper handling & storage costs. ● Opt for a double sided Travicant : the column will only be slightly more expensive than a single sided one but you can store twice as much. ● Please make sure your floor can carry the punctual loads.
