CORNING LOTUS? XT GLASS - 1

CORNING LOTUS™ XT GLASS FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE DISPLAYS The Corning Lotus™ Glass platform is specially formulated for high-temperature processing. By working in close collaboration with its customers, Corning developed a suite of glasses that withstand the demanding processes involved in creating high-performance displays. Corning Lotus™ XT Glass is the newest addition to Corning’s specialty glass platform. It is formulated to perform exceptionally well in low temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) and oxide thin-film transistor (TFT) backplane manufacturing processes. Lotus XT Glass retains its shape and surface quality during customer processing due to its outstanding thermal stability. Lotus XT Glass features best-in-class total pitch variation – up to 75 percent better than the company’s first-generation product, Corning Lotus Glass – supporting higher yields. Corning produces Lotus XT Glass using its patented fusion technology, which provides flat glass with pristine surface quality and excellent thickness control – qualities essential for successful manufacture of LCD and OLED displays. PRODUCT & MATERIAL INFORMATION Corning Lotus XT Glass is produced to the following specifications: PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS Maximum Size Length / Width Tolerances Thickness Tolerance Thickness Ranges (150mm Moving Window) Radius with a bevel width of 0.1 - 0.6 mm Corner Cuts Orientation Corner(s) 0.1 - 0.15% of the longer substrate edge Corning Lotus™ XT Glass / Product Information Sheet / May 2013

Dispersion Constant Birefringence Constant Optical Properties THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY Thermal Conductivity is a calculated value, and is equal to the product of the Thermal diffusivity multiplied by Specific Heat multiplied by Density of the glass. Temp (°C) Thermal Conductivity (W/cm-K) CHEMICAL DURABILITY Durability is measured via weight loss per surface area after immersion. Values are highly dependent upon actual testing conditions. Unless otherwise noted, concentrations refer to weight percent. Time Corning Lotus™ XT Glass / Product Information Sheet / May 2013
