Temperature Accuracy in the Liquid With the optional external temperature controller, you can measure accuracy to ±2ºC. Plug the controller into the back of the unit, insert the probe into the liquid, set the temperature on the digital display and the controller does the rest. With a controller, accuracy is assured in the liquid as opposed to the temperature of the plate top. You no longer have to keep checking the temperature with a thermometer and modifying the setting.
