Specifications
  • Product Description: Display Grade substrates.
  • Dimensional Criteria: Maximum size of 1500 x 1850 mm, length/width tolerances of +0.06%, and thickness options of 0.7 ± 0.07 mm, 0.63 + 0.063 mm, and 0.5 + 0.05 mm. Thickness range is ≤ 20 µm within a 150mm moving window.
  • Edge and Corner Specifications: Edges have a radius with a bevel width of 0.1 - 0.6 mm, corner cuts are 1.5 ± 1.0 mm, and squareness is ≤ 0.10% of the longer substrate edge.
  • Surface Quality: Streak pattern surface limit sample, warp for longer edges ≤ 400 mm is ≤ 0.40 mm, and > 400 mm is ≤ 0.1%. Waviness cut-off for 0.8–8 mm is ≤ 0.06 µm and for 0.8-25 mm is ≤ 0.33 µm.
Visual Fault Limits
  • Scratch & Stain: None visible on pattern surface using 5K lux; back surface has a 1.5K limit sample using 1.5K lux.
  • Inclusions: ≤ 0.1 mm.
  • Edge Chips: ≤ 1.0 mm.
  • Edge Cracks: None visible using 1.5K lux.
Packaging
  • Polyethylene-foam corner brackets, polypropylene slotted cases, DensePak™.
Quality Assurance
  • Quality level follows Mil-Std-105E with normal inspection and single sampling. Dimension criteria AQL is 1.0%, and visual criteria involve 100% inspection in process with AQL 2.5%.
Inspection Equipment and Methods
  • Dimensional measurements use laser gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other tools. Visual inspections are conducted in a darkened clean room with halogen or fluorescent lighting.
