Overview
Cornell Pump Company's Delta Series submersible pumps are designed for efficiency, reliability, and trouble-free operation. These pumps are equipped with high-efficiency enclosed impellers and are suitable for various municipal applications.
High Efficiency
The pumps utilize high-efficiency pump-ends that are proven in standard municipal applications, ensuring cost-effective operation.
Motor Specifications
The motors are FM approved, explosion-proof, and suitable for Class I, Division I, Group C & D services. They feature non-wicking, permanently numbered leads, thermostats for protection, and dual moisture probes for early seal failure detection. Heavy-duty ball bearings are standard.
Mechanical Seals
Each pump includes Tungsten mechanical seals and an oil reservoir with moisture sensor probes to prevent leakage damage. The lower seal is made of Tungsten Carbide vs. Silicon-Carbide.
High Temperature Protection
Embedded motor temperature protection in the stator windings ensures shutdown during high temperatures.
Cooling System
Optional glycol-filled, closed-loop cooling jackets and heat exchangers are available to prevent overheating during low liquid levels or high-temperature liquid handling.
Pump Construction
The pumps feature heavy-wall volutes, smooth passage impellers, replaceable wear rings, and a back pull-out design for easy maintenance. Standard materials include ASTM A48, Class 30 Cast Iron, with options for Ductile Iron, Nodular Ni-Quench, and 420 Stainless Steel.
Performance Range
The pumps offer capacities from 80 GPM to 15,000 GPM and heads from 10 feet to 400 feet, providing a clear performance advantage.
