Product catalog summary
Overview: Cornell Pump Company specializes in the design and manufacture of efficient pumps for various applications including wastewater, sludge, sewer systems, and more. Their products are known for their durability, efficiency, and innovative design features.
Specifications: Cornell pumps are available with different impeller types such as Delta™, Semi-open, Enclosed, and Chopper impellers. They offer discharge sizes from 3 to 30 inches, heads up to 470 feet TDH, and flow rates up to 38,000 GPM. The pumps are constructed with heavy-duty materials like ductile iron and stainless steel for enhanced durability.
Design Features: The pumps feature a double volute design to balance radial forces, reducing shaft flexure and fatigue. The Cycloseal® design eliminates the need for venting or flushing, enhancing seal life and reducing maintenance costs. The immersible motors are designed to withstand submergence up to 30 feet for two weeks, exceeding industry standards.
Product Lines: Cornell offers a variety of pumps including solids handling, clear liquid, submersible, and hydraulic submersible pumps. Each line is tailored for specific applications such as agriculture, industrial, mining, and municipal uses.
Performance and Efficiency: The pumps are designed for high efficiency with features like dynamically balanced impellers and oversized bearings. The Redi-prime® system offers a self-priming solution with high hydraulic efficiencies and environmental considerations.
Applications: Cornell pumps are used in diverse sectors including municipal water systems, industrial plants, agriculture, and energy recovery projects. They are suitable for handling abrasive materials, high-pressure applications, and large solids.
Additional Products: The company also offers hydro-turbines for energy recovery, MX series high-pressure pumps, and various accessories to enhance pump performance and installation flexibility.

SOLIDS HANDLING DELTA™ IMPELLER DELTA™ STYLE PUMPS The trailing edges of Cornell’s Delta™ impeller vanes extend continuously across the pump’s suction entrance to reduce low pressure areas. Two distinct vortices are created which pass solids through the impeller. The absence of sharp impeller edges prevents hang-up of stringy materials. Many of our enclosed impeller type pumps can be retrofitted with Delta™ style impellers. Delta™ pumps are available in 3 x 3”, 4 x 4”, 6 x 6”, 8 x 8” and 10 x 10” sizes. Capacities range from 50 to 5,000 GPM and heads range from 10 to 450 feet. CHOPPER IMPELLER...
