The MS SAM is a smart tachometric relay. It performs acquisition of two speed sensors with sensor break detection. Thus, it allows recognition of rotational direction. It provides two analogue outputs, voltage or current loop, and 4 limit switches for alarm purposes. Several LEDs on fascia immediately warn the user locally about the module status. Optional CAN bus connection can be provided, allowing connection of the module to other devices. Also, all parameter are configurable by an external GUI software on a PC. > This module is dedicated for industrial applications. A typical use is the acquisition of engine and turbocharger speed with or without internal alarm facilities.
