In cases where scratching or pittinghas blemished the seating surface of the holder, a gasket may be required to enhance sealing. The gasket lines the seating area on the process side of the rupture disc to seal the assembly and help prevent leakage. As a standard, Teflon gaskets are provided. Othermaterials, for specialized applications,are available upon request.
