The Continental ICON bursting disc is a cross scored, solid metal bursting disc specificallydesigned to protect transportation vessels like intermodal tank containers, railroad portable containers, tank cars, over-the-road tank trucks and other vessels that transport liquids or gasproducts, from potentially damaging overpressure conditions. ICON Bursting Disc Features:ٕScored bursting disc of "one-piece" solid metalconstruction.Suitable for gas or liquid service.ՕWithstands full vacuum without a vacuum support.Self-aligning outlet ring assures proper positioningof the bursting disc with the mating outlet flange.ՕDesigned to install between PN6, ANSI 150or BS10 table D flanges.Designed for non-fragmentation.ՕPermanently attached 316 Stainless Steel tag.Inlet and outlet Teflon > OUTLETSIDE ծ* gaskets provide a leaktight seal in the system. The ICON bursting disc is ideal for installation beneathpressure relief valves due to its non-fragmenting design. The ICON bursting disc is designed for installation on tanksmeeting the requirements of ADR, US DOT, DOT Blue Book,IMCO, ISO, and RID. ICON bursting discs are available in 65 mm or 80 mmsizes and standard burst pressures of 3,67, 4,10, or 4,84 barg at20C (53.2, 59.5, or 70.2 psig at 68аF). Each is supplied with a permanently attached 316 Stainless Steel identification tag which is steel stamped with the bursting pressure at coincidenttemperature, materials of construction, and any customer specified data.
