- Environmental: Operates in temperatures from -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C) with a maximum shock protection of 5,000 g. It is IP68 sealed and submersible up to 200 ft (60 m).
- Physical: The sensor uses a PZT Ceramic sensing element in shear mode, weighs 6.3 oz (180 grams), and is made from 316L stainless steel. It mounts with an M8 captive bolt and has a resonant frequency of 1,200,000 CPM (20000 Hz).
- Electrical: Requires a voltage source of 18-30 VDC and constant current excitation of 2-10 mA. It has a settling time of less than 2.5 seconds and an output impedance of less than 100 ohms.
