The two independently programmable channels accept signals in 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, or 1-5 V formats. This advanced meter is capable of handling complex math requirements, including addition, difference, average, multiplication, division, ratio, and more. The dual-line 6-digit displays can show a combination of both input channels and the math function, allowing for a customized display showing all the critical application information. This unit comes with 4 relays. Through-Glass SafeTouch® Buttons The PMX9000 is equipped with up to 4 sensors that operate as through-glass buttons so that it can be programmed and operated without removing the cover (and exposing the electronics) in a hazardous area. These buttons can be disabled for security by selecting the LOCK setting on the switch located on the connector board in the base of the enclosure. To actuate a button, press one finger to the glass directly over the marked button area. When the cover is removed, mechanical buttons located on the faceplate perform the same programming functions. Relay Outputs The PMX9000 has four 3 A Form C relays (SPDT) with multiple power loss fail-safe options. Each relay may be assigned to input channel A or B. Relays can be configured for proper protective action upon input loop break. Relay ON and OFF delay times are user adjustable. Front panel indicators show alarm and/or relay state. There are powerful relay functions that can be configured in the PMX9000 meter, including: • Automatic reset only (non-latching) • Automatic + manual reset at any time (non-latching) • Latching (manual reset only) • Latching with clear (manual reset only after alarm condition has cleared) • Pump alternation control (automatic reset only) • Sampling (activated for a user-specified time) • User selectable fail-safe operation • Relay action for loss (break) of 4-20 mA input signal • Time delay (on and off), independent for each relay • Manual control mode • Interlock relay mode Hazardous Area Sensors & Accessories Disclaimer: The information contained in this document is subject to change without notice.
