The LP302-M12 Series is a loop power sensor designed for acceleration measurement with a 4-20 mA output and a top exit M12 connector. It is used for continuous monitoring and protection of important machinery by transmitting signals over long distances without signal loss.
The product offers various measurement ranges from 0-1 g to 0-20 g and frequency ranges from 600-60,000 CPM to 180-600,000 CPM. It supports both RMS and Peak measurement types and comes with an M12D 4 Pin connector style.
- Physical: The sensor uses a PZT ceramic sensing element in shear mode, weighs 82 grams, and is housed in 316L stainless steel. It mounts with a 1/4-28 stud and requires a mounting torque of 2 to 5 ft. lbs.
- Electrical: The sensor operates on a 15-30 VDC power supply, with a settling time of less than 30 seconds at room temperature. It features electrical case isolation greater than 108 ohms.
- Environmental: The sensor operates within a temperature range of -40 to 185°F and is CE certified for electromagnetic sensitivity. It is sealed to IP68 standards.
The product comes with mounting hardware and a calibration certificate for current output at 100 Hz.
The 4 Pin M12 connector has specific pin assignments: Pin A for signal/power (+), Pin B for common (-), while Pins C and D are not used.
