By weighing the colorant storage vessel while metering, the TrueFeed LQ model delivers consistent, precise gravimetric dosing of colorant to the machine throat, or throat mounted mixer. Model TF-LQ weigh platform with liquid color drum The TrueFeed LQ Feeding System can be used for injection molding or extrusion and includes a user friendly, multi-language control, a rugged weigh scale platform for your colorant supply and a choice of dispensers. SIMPLE, CLEAN, PRECISE LIQUID DOSING The TrueFeed LQ utilizes precision peristaltic liquid color pumps while measuring the loss in weight of the colorant supply to deliver precision dosing never before possible. No calibration is required since the additive is continuously weighed and metering is adjusted automatically. Variations in liquid viscosity and even air in the dispensing line are automatically self-compensated. Colorant can be metered directly to the machine throat, to be mixed with base materials during processing. The TrueFeed LQ can also operate with a throat mounted mixer to assure and visually confirm thorough dispersion and mixing of ingredients before they enter the machine throat.
