Test Method and Performance

Damp Heat: The test is conducted at a temperature of +40°C ± 2°C with a relative humidity of 93% ± 2% for 56 days. Performance criteria include no dielectric breakdown or flashover at 4.3 Vr (d.c.) for 1 minute, Delta C% ≤ 5%, and insulation resistance ≥ 50% of the initial limit.
Endurance: Conducted at +100°C ± 2°C for 1000 hours with a voltage of 1.25 x Vr + 1000 Vac - 0.1 s/h. Performance criteria are similar to the damp heat test.
Resistance to Soldering Heat: The soldering bath temperature is +260°C ± 5°C with a dipping time of 10 sec ± 1 sec. Delta C% should be ≤ 5%.
