Bibloc household water softener

Product catalog summary
Advantages
The Bibloc Water Softener offers several benefits, including protection against scaling for pipes, sanitary ware, and home appliances. It enhances the efficiency of sanitary ware, improves the tactile quality of water for washing and bathing, and is recommended for Jacuzzis and hydrotherapy. It also reduces the need for additional descaling products.

Composition and Operating Principle
The softener uses ion-exchanging resins to remove calcium and magnesium from water, preventing scaling and making the water 'soft'. Once the resins are saturated, they are regenerated using a brine solution. This process is automatically activated, either based on water volume consumed or a set time interval.

Technical Characteristics
The system operates at a maximum pressure of 4 bars and requires a 230 V power supply. It features volume and time control for regeneration, displays for water volume and flow, and automatic chlorination for resin disinfection. The unit includes a filtration system and a bypass valve.

Sizing the Unit
The appropriate unit size depends on the water hardness and the number of household members. A table is provided to guide the selection based on these factors.

Installation
The device dimensions are 400 x 570 x 1050 mm, with a weight of 32 kg and a regeneration time of 31 minutes. It includes a sediment filter, brine drain pipe, and overflow pipe, with optional components like isolation and check valves.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance involves checking residual hardness every three months, annual disinfection of resins, and monitoring salt and water levels.

Guarantee
The product comes with a three-year guarantee covering parts and labor, excluding consumables and transport.

BIBLOC WATER SOFTENER Part No. q341004001 OPERATING PRINCIPLE Water softeners are devices installed on a cold water pipe to act on the physicochemical composition of the water by reducing the concentration of calcium and magnesium, which cause scaling. The raw (unsoftened) water from the supply system flows through ion-exchanging resins (strong cationic resins), which capture the calcium and the magnesium. The water delivered by the softener no longer causes scaling, and has become "soft". As the water passes through, the resins become saturated with calcium and magnesium. As soon as the resins become saturated, regeneration must be carried out to recharge them. Regeneration is achieved by passing a brine solution through the resins. Regeneration is activated automatically, during the night, by an automatic system built into the softener head. Regeneration can be activated in two ways: • based on volumes consumed (volume mode), • based on time interval (time mode). COMPOSITION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE - t protects pipes, sanitary ware, and home appliances from I scaling. - t keeps sanitary ware operating at normal efficiency. I - t makes the water more pleasant to the touch for washing I and bathing (body and hair). - softener is also recommended for optimum operation of A Jacuzzis, Turkish baths and home hydrotherapy.
