Product catalog summary
Overview of High Flow Filtration Systems
The document outlines the industrial range of high flow filtration systems, capable of handling flow rates from 0 to 35 m³/h. It describes three types of filters: manual cleaning filters, automatic self-cleaning filters, and polypropylene mesh filters, each designed for different levels of filtration and maintenance requirements.
Filter Types and Specifications
  • Manual Cleaning Filters: These filters use a 150 µm mesh and require manual backwashing and brushing to remove accumulated pollutants.
  • Automatic Self-Cleaning Filters: These operate similarly to manual filters but are motor-powered, with cleaning triggered by time intervals or pressure drop.
  • Polypropylene Mesh Filters: These filters use a 25 µm mesh, which needs regular replacement every 3 to 6 months depending on usage.
Applications and Operation
The filters are suitable for both industrial and residential water systems, protecting against suspended particles. They can be installed at various points in the water system, ensuring the water remains drinkable while retaining its minerals and trace elements.
Technical Characteristics
  • Filtration range: 25 to 150 µm
  • Flow rates: 5 to 35 m³/h
  • Recommended service pressure: 4 bars; Max pressure: 10 bars
  • Temperature range: 5 to 40 °C
  • Pressure drop: max 0.2 bar
Maintenance and Guarantee
  • Manual filters require regular cleaning and annual cartridge checks.
  • Automatic filters have automatic cleaning cycles and annual cartridge checks.
  • Mesh filters require mesh replacement every 3 to 6 months.
  • 1-year guarantee on parts and labor, excluding consumables and transport.
Installation and Sizing
Proper installation involves ensuring correct inlet and outlet positioning and connecting automatic filters to the mains electricity. Sizing requires information on water nature, filtering rate, service pressure, and pollution characteristics.

HIGH FLOW FILTRATION Industrial range (from 0 to 35 m3/h) Principle of operation Water systems can be filtered at several levels: - very high rate for industrial/collective buildings, - high rate for each home, - low rate for each water point. For buildings and homes, the Comap WTI range of filters provides effective water system protection against the problems of solid particles in suspension in the water, such as mineral, metal or organic particles larger than 25 µm. The filtered water thus conserves its minerals and dissolved trace elements which constituted its original value. The water remains totally drinkable in terms of solids in suspension, but filtering is only the first phase of a more complete drinking water treatment. Manual cleaning filter inox Automatic self-cleaning filter inox Fields of Application - ndustrial and residential building filters I can be installed on all water systems that need to be protected against particles in suspension. - he filters can be installed on the T incoming supply to the system or directly on the pipe carrying the water to be treated. Polypropylene mesh filter Our industrial and residential building filtering systems range Our filter range comprises 3 types of filter: - anual cleaning filters: these 150 µm filters are quick to clean, with no need to remove the filter mesh. The filter M cartridge is backwashed and brushed manually to remove pollution accumulated during the filtering process. -Automatic self-cleaning filters: The principle is the same as for manual cleaning, but the cleaning is motor-powered and carried out either at a selected time interval (between 2 and 48 hours, depending on the model), or by measuring the pressure drop across the filter (cleaning activated for a drop of 0.5 bar). - Polypropylene filter meshes are used. These filter to 25 µm and the meshes should be changed at regular intervals (between 3 and 6 months, depending on use).
