Overview: The C-mac temperature transmitter type TT22 is designed for use with a Pt100 sensor element and is suitable for mounting in a standard sensor head type B. It is a loop-powered device, meaning its current consumption (4-20 mA) is proportional to the temperature measured by the Pt100 sensor.
Specifications:- Compatible with 2, 3, or 4-wire Pt100 sensors according to DIN 43760.
- Output: Current consumption of 4-20 mA, proportional to the temperature.
- Cable fault detection: Short circuit at approximately 3.5 mA and breakage at approximately 23 mA.
- Supply voltage range: 8.5 - 30 VDC with a minimum voltage drop of 8.5 V.
- Linearity: 0.1%.
- Temperature stability: Less than 0.02%/°C for spans under 100°C and less than 0.01%/°C for spans over 100°C.
- Operating temperature range: -20°C to +50°C.
- Response time: 0.1 seconds (10-90%).
- Dimensions: Ø44 x 20 mm.
EMC Compliance:- Emission: EN 50081-2.
- Immunity: EN 50082-2.
Metering Ranges: The transmitter is available in four standard metering ranges, all for 3-wire configurations:
- -50 to +50°C
- -50 to +150°C
- 0 to 100°C
- 0 to 200°C
Special metering ranges can be requested.
Programming: The transmitter can be programmed using a programming unit within the range of -200 to 850°C with a minimum span of 25°C. Additional parameters such as reaction delay can also be programmed.
Connections: The device has six connection pins:
- Pin 1: Current +
- Pin 2: Current -
- Pin 3: Pt100 sensor
- Pin 4: Pt100 sensor, 3-wire
- Pin 5: Pt100 sensor
- Pin 6: Pt100 sensor, 4-wire
Ordering Information: The TT22 is available in different models based on metering range:
- TT22-1: -50 to +150°C
- TT22-2: 0 to +100°C
- TT22-3: 0 to +200°C
- TT22-4: -50 to +50°C
- TT22-x: Custom metering range
Additional accessories include the TTP22 programmable unit and Flextop programming interface.
