Product catalog summary
General Information
The document details the specifications and technical data for the IR1601, IR1801, and IR2001 series of indexing rotary tables. These tables are designed for precise index motion, featuring sealed electrowelding gear housing, self-locking dwell positions, and high load-bearing capacity. They offer smooth, noiseless operation and can be mounted in any plane with minimal maintenance.
Specifications
The tables come in various configurations with different numbers of stations (18, 20, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34). Displacement angles and motion laws are specified for each series, with options for modified sine curves and generic motion laws. Detailed dimensions and load capacities are provided, highlighting axial and radial load coefficients.
Technical Data
Each series includes specific technical data such as roller diameters, number of rollers, and displacement angles. Tables with detailed measurements and tolerances ensure precise installation and operation. Indexing plate precision is specified with concentricity and flatness measurements.
Installation and Assembly
The document outlines the installation process, including anchoring systems and assembly of control cams for microswitches. It describes the use of centering diameters and radial slots for precise alignment and anchorage, with options for different types of limit switches.
Applications and Examples
Examples of applications for oscillating rotary tables demonstrate their versatility and adaptability for various industrial uses. Information on motorization and overload protection systems is also included.
Additional Information
The document adheres to international standards for measurements and tolerances, ensuring compatibility and reliability. It notes that Colombo Filippetti may make changes to improve products without prior notice, and this catalogue supersedes all previous versions.
Overview
This document provides technical specifications and operational guidelines for the IR series indexing rotary tables, specifically models IR1601, IR1801, and IR2001. It includes details on lubrication, microswitch functions, dynamic capacities, and designation of the tables.
1. Microswitch Functions
The document outlines the functions of microswitches for different positions (A, B, C, D) in the rotary tables, crucial for stopping and over-stroke detection.
2. Lubrication
The IR series tables require lubrication by oil bath, with specific recommendations for ISO VG 320 mineral oil. The thrust bearing needs lubrication every 1600 hours with ISO XM 2 grease. A table of corresponding lubricants and intervals based on oil temperature is provided.
3. Lubrication Points
The document specifies the positions of lubrication holes, including oil filling plug, oil level window, and oil drain plug, with diagrams for clarity.
4. Dynamic Capacities
A detailed table lists the dynamic torque capacities for different series and configurations, including cycles per minute and coefficients of velocity, acceleration, and transmission.
5. Designation
The designation of the IR rotary tables is explained through alphanumeric groups indicating series, type of roller, number of stations, displacement angle, version, and total reduction ratio.
6. Additional Features
The document mentions the availability of special movement indexing tables on demand and provides technical characteristics for reduction gears and torque limiters.

10.Assembly of control cam for microswitches The applications for INDEXING TABLES frequently require a cam-limit switch unit to interrupt the motor drive at each cycle. The stop can have the function of extending the rest period of the cycle and/or of reversing the sense of rotation of the motor and consequently of the INDEXING TABLE and in which case will operate as a rocker unit. Limit switch cams are available in three standard shapes, each suitable for a particular type of limit switch as follows > cam for push operated limit switch with roller D4B 1171-DIN43694 FORM B cam for lever operated...

FC are micro groups driven by the camshaft in ratio 1:1. These groups cannot distinguish particular station positions but can provide up to 6 control microcams as standard; each of which is synchronised with the IR camshaft. Tab .13 > 11.FC and FCR Micro Groups This simple micro groups permit identification only of the fact that the cam is in a certain position. If this position be the dwell period, the IR table must be in any one of perhaps several stations. It is sometimes necessary to know which particular station e.g. tables where oscillation between stations is required which is achieved...

13.Lubrication The lubrication of IR 1601, IR 1801 and IR 2001 tables is by oil bath, only the rollers are lubricated by conveyance of lubricant. The recommended lubricant is ISO VG 320 mineral oil or similar. Lubrication frequency, unless leakage or external pollution have occurred, is as shown in Tab. 15 and depends on the temperature achieved by the oil under standard operating conditions. The thrust bearing of indexing plate must be lubricated by specific grease cups every 1600 hours of work with 8 cm3 of ISO XM 2 grease. Indexing tables are delivered with this bearing already lubricated,...
