General Characteristics
The VECOBAND banded belts serve as a flexible link between motors and machines, effectively transmitting high power while minimizing twisting and shocks that can lead to power loss and reduced lifespan. They are also used in agricultural machinery for clutch operations.
Conception
These belts are constructed from endless V-belts joined with a reinforced band. They feature synthetic rubbers for consistent hardness, polyester cords for controlled elasticity and high traction capacity, and are wrapped with polychloroprene compound for resistance to heat, oil, abrasion, and ozone.
Production Range
Narrow section belts include 3VJ, 5VJ, and SPCJ, while classic section belts include AJ and BJ. Lengths range from 1 to 20 meters, with varying numbers of belts per band depending on the section.
Lengths
Belts are specified by their effective length, which corresponds to the external diameter of the pulleys and is used for transmission calculations.
General Specifications
Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +80°C. The belts are antistatic, oil-resistant, and approved by the American Institute of Petroleum. They are designed to endure centrifugal strength and efficiently dissipate heat at high speeds.
Marking
Each belt is marked with the trademark, section, number of cords, effective length, and production date.
Stocking Conditions
Belts should be stored in a dry, dust-free, and well-ventilated environment with temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Avoid exposure to sunlight, chemicals, and ozone-producing materials. Follow a "first in, first out" stock rotation.
Cleaning
Clean belts with water and soap, avoiding organic solvents and abrasive tools. Allow them to dry at ambient temperature.
