Application
The Cross Flow Scrubber RHE in plastic is designed for the purification of highly polluted exhaust air with acidic or alkaline contamination. It is primarily used in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biochemical, surface treatment, solar technology, semiconductor, clean rooms, waste management, sewage treatment, composting, and drying processes.
Principle The scrubber operates by dosing a circulating washing fluid into the horizontal exhaust air flow. This process involves rinsing water-soluble impurities through the addition of alkalis or acids, with a
tank provided for pollutant collection.
Features
- Efficiency: Up to 99%
- Air flow: Standard up to 45,000 m³/h, with higher volumes available on request
- Gas temperature range: -30 to +120 °C, depending on material
- Working pressure: +/- 1,500 Pa, depending on material
Construction
The scrubber is constructed from corrosion-resistant plastics such as PP, PPs, PE, PVC, PVDF, and GFK. It includes a packing inside the column to ensure sufficient surface area between the gas and fluid phase, and a mist eliminator to prevent liquid discharge after the cleaning phase.
EX-proof
The scrubber is available for ATEX zones 1 and 2, ensuring safety in explosive environments.
Accessories / Options
- pH-reading and conductivity measuring
- Chemical dosing unit and dosing tank
- Automatic shedding of pollutants
