COENs NRT oil igniter is designed to provide low opacity and superior igniter reliability for new burner applications or as a retrofit assembly for upgrading performance and reliability of OEM igniter equipment. The NRT igniter firing system provides reliable, low opacity performance with ease of installation, maintenance, and operation. The NRT igniter guide assembly fits within a 4 inch guide pipe (4.5 OD) and is designed for positioning flexibility. The igniter assembly provides a low profile through the burner to minimize obstructions in the air flow. COENҒs patented Smokeless Igniter is less than 10% on a cold boiler startup. > Smokeless Igniter Technology features an internal mix atomizer and flame stabilizer which provides improved combustion efficiency and excellent flame stability with low opacity under all operating conditions. The Smokeless Igniter atomizer is a 3-piece, internal-mix atomizer that provides optimum spray droplet size and spray pattern for quality perfor- mance. The atomizer, combined with the flame stabilizer (diffuser), produces a high internal recirculation zone (IRZ) for the oil that improves light-off reliability, flame stability, and overall fuel burnout. The primary components of the NRT igniter are the sta-tionary guide pipe assembly, igniter oil gun, Smokeless Igniter atomizer, and the flame stabilizer (diffuser). The NRT igniter oil gun locks in place with a cam-lock type fit- ting for tight lockdown, sealing, and easy removal of the oil gun. The oil gun is equipped with quick disconnects for easy connection of oil and air to the oil gun. The oil side uses a double shutoff disconnect as a safeguard to keep oil from flowing out of the oil gun or hose when it is disconnected.
