Coatema Coating and Laminating - Basecoater for a moderate price. It is basically equipped with a winding-off unit, an application system, a dryer, a winding-on unit and a central control system. Thirty-Eight coating and laminating systems that have been developed by Coatema can be integrated into the Basecoater. Of course, combinations of application systems like knife, roller and foulard are possible, which enables the use of almost any kind of coating chemistry on most substrates. In order to make the use of solvents possible the Basecoater is available in an EEX-version. The Basecoater is Coatema´s most basic rollto-roll coating plant. With working widths from 200 mm (8 inches) up to 500 mm (20 inches), it can be used for continous processing of a wide variety of substrates like textiles, foils, papers and nonwovens.
