Grazie alla grande varietà di funzioni ausiliarie, risulta molto evidente il ruolo di completamento che questa serie svolge nei confronti della serie madre, MT ideata per gli impianti frenanti dei veicoli industriali e commerciali. Tutti i raccordi RT hanno ottenuto la certificazione TÜV secondo gli standard DIN 74324:1996, DIN EN ISO 9227:2017 e 600682-6:2008.
